Welcome to Special Needs and Moving On Projects!

Special Needs & Moving On projectsThe Special Needs and Moving On Projects provide resources and support for workers at the post office whose children have disabilities. The projects are available to members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers and the Union of Postal Communications Employees (Public Service Alliance of Canada). The Special Needs Project is geared to families with young children; the Moving On Project is for adult sons and daughters with special needs. Life is more demanding when you work and have a child with special needs. Learn more about our Special Needs and Moving On projects.


Friend 2 Friend Social Learning Society

friend2friendFriend 2 Friend offers education programs for children and adults that include Puppet Presentation for children ages 3 to 8, Simulation Games Presentation for children ages 9 and up, Integrated Play Groups for children aged 3-12 and seminars for parents and professionals. Friend 2 Friend programs work to promote mutually rewarding

friendships between children with autism spectrum and related social-communicative disorders and their peers, siblings and classmates. Website provides resources and links as well as a calendar of events.

Of special interest: Friend 2 Friend is in the process of designing a training program (complete with manual, video, children's book and seminar) for those people interested in running a F2F satellite program.
