Breaking through barriers for workers
who have children with special needs

Comité québécois pour les jeunes en difficulté de comportement (CQJDC)

cqjdcProviding educational services to meet the needs of youth with behavioural difficulties and those around them is a special challenge.

The CQJDC is aware of the difficulties faced by these young people,

by their parents, and by educational officers. As a result, its aim is to promote the development of quality educational services by educating those concerned about the needs and welfare of these youth. It is also aimed at building likw between school staff, those involved in other networks, and the parents of these children.

CQJDC deals with youth with both introverted (under-reactive: inhibited, isolated, depressive or suicidal, etc.) and extroverted (over-reactive : disruptive, aggressive, oppositional, hyperactive, etc) behaviour.
